Building on our decades long tradition of work with young children and their families, we are pleased to expand our Early Intervention services based on Stanley Greenspan’s DIR® and FloorTime®, models. Early Intervention services are available to children suspected of having a developmental delay and/or disability. Program Content
EvaluationsOur extensive supplemental evaluations exceed Westchester County’s Early Intervention standards by utilizing the DIR® framework. In addition to using a wide range of standard developmental measures, our psychology staff also administer:
Treatment
Referrals All services are provided with no out-of-pocket costs to parents. Health insurance will be accessed for reimbursement. Eligibility for services can only be established by state approved agencies with an active contract with Westchester County. Once established all services are identified in collaboration with the parent and approved by Westchester County who will arrange for the provision of those authorized services. When services are delivered in child care settings or community locations requiring a fee parents are responsible for paying any costs associated with such settings or locations.
Early Intervention is a public program funded by the New York State Department of Health and by the Westchester County Department of Health.
